Walrus Clothing and Bossyboots strive to make garments that kids can enjoy!Walrus Clothing was founded in 1989 in the beautiful coastal town of Cape Town in South Africa. Walrus manufactures, wholesales and retails clothing from infant wear to size 13 years old. We also offer a limited adult casual wear to complement the kids garments. All garments are made from 100% cottons, printed and garment-dyed in reactive process. Studs and snaps on the infant wear are nickel-free. Bossyboots Clothing was founded 1990 and also specializes in cotton garment-dyed clothing for infants and children up to 13 years. Bossyboots has a retail outlet at the Canal Walk Shopping Center in Cape Town as well as an outlet at the Waterfront in Cape Town at the Explorers market. Both companies supply agents and shops locally. Hedgehog Clothing was created in 2002, and is a joint venture between Walrus and Bossyboots, exclusively for the international market. We joined forces and offer a vast range of the best sellers of both ranges. You can find us at 51/53 Coronation Street, Maitland, Cape Town. Our phone numbers are: +27+21 5103554 or +27+21 5103913, Fax: +27+21 5103913. The email for Walrus and Hedgehog is: info@walrus.co.za and for Bossy Boots: lizl@netactive.co.za About the Ranges: Our ranges and prints are designed by us, all fabrics are made of 100% cottons unless otherwise stated. The fabrics are hand printed with our exclusive designs and carefully heat set. After the fabrics are cut into the various styles, our team of experienced seamstresses sew the garments. Then the garments are dyed into the color shades we have chosen. We normally have about 8 to 10 different shades available. The dye process is called "overdye" or "garment dye" and produces a unique and fresh look. Our colors are dyed reactively as opposed to pigment dyed and therefore do not have the "Made to Fade" look. The ranges will not shrink due to this dye process and the clothes can be washed in the machine and even tumble dried at a low heat. So they don't only look good, they are also easy to care for! 06/21/2003
